We wish you all happy holidays. At this time of year it is good to reflect on your your triumphs and also determine specific goals for how you can improve yourself over the coming year.

These goals should be more than weight goals, but it is also a great time to make decisions about lifestyle changes involving your diet. This is more than just dieting -- it involves small, gradual changes that can help you accomplish bigger health goals. For example, set specific limits and guidelines for how much and how often you'll have deserts, fast food or other "junk foods." Commit to decisions that you know you will follow which and that will contribute to a healthier lifestyle.

Persistent, gradual changes are often the ones we can make stick, and over time these minor modifications can help us achieve bigger health goals.
